Pets are more than just an animal, they are a member of your family. A custom pet portrait can be a wonderful way to cherish a beloved pet. They also make heartfelt gifts for any occasion. Working from photos, you will receive a 100% hand painted portrait. It is important to Melissa that you are happy with the result and it will be something to treasure in your home. Step 1 - Let’s start a conversation
Commissioned work can take a variety of directions so it is important to discuss those details prior to putting any money on the table. If you would like to begin working with Melissa please complete the form below.
Step 2 - Send a few photos
Please email a few photos of your pet to help in our discussion. Favorite photos and multiple angles are important. High quality and good lighting will be an asset to creating a good portrait.
Step 3 - Make a $50 deposit
After design decisions have been made, Melissa will direct you back here to place your deposit. Please note: work will not begin until receipt of deposit.
Whether you already have something in mind or if you don’t know where to start the first step is to fill out a basic inquiry from above. Please be sure to share something about your loved furry friend, it can help create more meaningful compositions.
Email several photos of your pet to melissaworthart@gmail.com. Higher quality photos are preferable (more details and angles the better).
Melissa will work with you to decide on which photo to reference and discuss any specifics you may be envisioning (size, medium, style etc.).
After decisions have been made, place a $50 deposit to begin work on your portrait.
Upon receipt of deposit, Melissa will begin the painting process. This can take 10-14 days to complete. Please note: this is an estimation and not a guarantee, time can vary depending on scope of project and dry time.
Once completed Melissa will email you a photo and payment link for approval.
When final payment is received your painting will be shipped.
